

This house on Zemitāna square in Riga is a home to three Soviet time neon signs - two of them refer to the cinema Teika, the third one (the bottom photo) to a bakery. Unfortunately, it's been a while since there's no cinema, nor bakery.

Did you ever go to see a movie at Teika cinema? What about the bakery... was it good?
I'm wondering why the sign is still on? Is it to remind us that there once was a cinema? Or local municipality don't wanna spend on workers to take it off? Or for us to be nostalgic about good old times...
