Riga's tram

This is an experimental tram that was build in Riga and was even seen taking a drive but in the end was never put in mass production. Today it rots behind the walls of some factory.

There were rumours, that there was made a big mistake during design phase - tram dimensionas were made too big, so it coudn't turn some corners on most of tram lines. Only line 2 was apropriate for this tram without reconstruction.

i've heard that they were made too wide that 2 new trams couldn't pass by each other.

Arni, kurā vietā tas tramvajs ir atrodams? Es arī viņu bērnībā redzēju.

Well, I guess they made plans first before building it. The tram is such a waste.
